Anthony A. Romeo, MD, FAAOS, is a well-versed orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician who diagnoses and treats patients as Executive Vice President of the Musculoskeletal Institute at DuPage Medical Group in Elmhurst, Westmont, and Lombard, IL. Anthony A. Romeo, MD, FAAOS, attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO, and received his medical degree in 1987. Furthermore, he conducted his orthopedic surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH (1987-1992). In addition, he completed his fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA (1992-1993). Dr. Romeo received board certification in orthopedic surgery and orthopedic sports medicine from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). A Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Romeo maintains professional memberships with the International Society of Arthroscopy Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, the Congress of the European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and the Elbow, the American Orthopaedic Association, the American Shoulder and Elbow Society, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the American Medical Association, the Illinois Orthopaedic Society, the Chicago Medical Society, and the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association.
